Baking 101 with Sarah

Brownie Baking.

Tip #1: According to the Internet, if you run out of vegetable oil, a great and healthy substitute is apple sauce.

However, if no one in your household is under 10 years old, chances are you don’t have apple sauce either (especially if you’re not even stocked with the most basic of basics, vegetable oil).

Tip #2: The Internet also says you can use butter as a sub for veggie oil, though it obviously packs in some extra calories + fat.

Tip #3: Since you clearly don’t have the veggie oil or applesauce, you will likely sub with the melted butter.  While you’re adding the extra cals + fat, go ahead and make the chocolate frosting.  All it takes is 16 oz of powdered sugar, 1/3 cup of coco, and a dash of milk.

Problem: SOLVED.

And you even get to lick the mixing bowl twice.  (Diet starts tmrw.)
